FAMOUS throughout the Northeast, the sleepy village of Island Pond is not only the birthplace of movie legend, Rudy Vallee, but is unarguably THE SNOWMOBILE CAPITAL OF VERMONT!	And, The Lakefront Inn & Motel has held court at the center of it all for over 24 thrilling years. Our year-round lodging location, in the center of Island Pond Village, in the winter is directly on a beautifully frozen high mountain lake with direct access from our property to all VAST snowmobile trails in the three county Northeast Kingdom Region.

OUR family oriented facility includes three lovely buildings. THE MAIN BUILDING, (The Inn) includes the lobby, offices and our best luxury suites which offer one, two or three bedrooms (with or without fireplaces). THE LAKEFRONT BUILDING (The Motel) includes our superior rooms with kitchens. OUR THIRD BUILDING, (The Colonial Saltbox which was built by Robert N. Dexter, Building Contractor), is a heated multi-bay garage available to our registered guests for any last minute repairs or tune-ups that they may wish to make themselves.

YOUR sleds and vehicles may be parked in our secure parking lot while you sleep, dine or tour the village of Island Pond. Everything is within walking distance of THE LAKEFRONT INN & MOTEL, including restaurants and shopping.
Our LAKEFRONT EXPRESS MART - DELI/BAKERY which is located directly adjacent to our INN & MOTEL, was designed to serve the needs of our customers.
		For your convenience, we have a full breakfast menu, along with breakfast sandwiches, muffins, bagels and fresh pastries which are baked fresh on the premises, each and every day and gourmet coffee from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Our lunch menu offers everyting from CHAR-BROILED burgers to ROTISSERIE chickens, hearty soups and desserts. In addition, THE LAKEFRONT EXPRESS MART offers grocery products, snacks, an array of malt beverages, soft drinks, gasoline and a 24-hour ATM.

Our winter rates are based on double occupancy and range from $124 to $325. Reservations are accepted based only on a credit card guarantee and are subject to a two to seven day nonrefundable cancellation policy. Several winter holidays and winter events weekends have specific cancellation policies.

Our efficiencies are available with one queen or two full size beds

VT Registration, TMA Decals and Club Memberships may be acquired at the
Island Pond Welcome Center .
